Gemma by Camila / By Camila Modena.

I still have that picture of yours, Gemma. You dug a hole in a puddle in the garden. You came out of the hole and you were so muddy. I can still remember when I took you for walks on the road. You never bit anyone or chased poor little stray cats and smaller dogs.

You never barked at doors. You welcomed visitors home and you ate everything in your bowl. But you also had eye problems, and walking problems, and even hearing problems! You were thirteen years old! It was time for you to go. I was very sad, Gemma.
I miss you, pal.

Bye bye, Gemma.
