Geordie by Shelly Wolf-Lake / Mommy

My wee Geordie, I miss you so much. This will be my third Christmas without you, and it is still so hard. Your jingle collar lies silent (same for your scrunchie collar), and home is empty without you. (I know you could care less about those things, but you were willing to wear them if it meant you could go to Grandma and Grandpa’s for Christmas turkey dinner!) I hope someday we can truly celebrate Christ’s birth together, with the guest of honour present. That would be so wonderful! Anyway, just wanted to say you are not forgotten; in fact, Christmas will always be missing something, will be less than it could be, because you are not here to share it with me.

Love you forever and ever,
Geordie
