Geordie by Shelly Wolf-Lake / Mommy

Geordie, it’s been more than five long years without you. It’s been so hard to keep going, and harder still at Christmas. Miss decorating the house with you, the way you would check out the tree when it was first put up, the way you would get into the excitement of treats in your stocking (stinky, dried fish treats!), and would tear open your presents each year. You also loved going to grandma and grandpa’s house on Christmas day, to get a bit of the yummy people dinner with your kibble, even dessert! I’m missing you SO much this year: I’d give anything to have you here with me. I still love you the most of anyone in my life (don’t tell the others), and I can’t wait to see you again,

Merry Christmas, my little man,
Geordie
