To say Hoot was a good dog,
There are those who’d disagree.
But to live with her for just 3 years
Went by too fast for me.
There were those months she saved my life,
When all my hope was gone.
Just having her right by my side
Was my reason to go on.
But now she’s at the Rainbow Bridge
And since we’re physically apart,
I will miss her every day
With each beat of my heart.
