To Isis Kidjen:

We loved you for fifteen years and you loved us in your own feline way. You were sick for several months with cancer and we couldn’t continue to see you suffer. We will always remember your plaintive voice your soft purrs and crazy antics. You were our first child. You were skittish nutty cute annoying and delicate. We still see you sitting at the door crying to come in and jumping in the rocker hitting the wall telling us it was time to go to bed. We know that you are now in paradise. There will be no more suffering. We will always miss you. Thank you for letting us love you and thank you for letting us be your family.
