Great Dane
The year was 1999 and the phone rang on the other end
was a friend telling us he had seen a Great Dane running for the last
3 weeks and could we find the room for just one more.
Our house at this point was overflowing with couch potatoes
(5 adults and 11 puppies) SO whats one more…
About an hour later a very underweight little girl shows up
at our doorstep instant LOVE.
She had eyes that could melt the North Pole and and aura
of LOVE no one could deny.
How could someone just throw her out?
The first day she slept in my reclining chair for 17 hours straight
she didn’t get up to eat drink our go potty.
She just slept knowing she was safe and in a loving home.
On her second day she needed a name so the very hard process
began name after name and she didn’t seem interested until I hit
on Jezabel (she just loved to flirt with everyone) this was her choice.
She half listened to her name until I added her middle name then most of
the time you could call her once and glued to your knee she’d be.
You know how when your parents called you they’d use your whole
name the same works for all my babies.
And so for the next 2 years Jessie touched more hearts then any other
being God has put on this earth.
There wasn’t a person that met her that didn’t want to take her home
(dog lover or not) Jezabel was soooooo special.
Always happy always having a positive attitude always my sunshine.
We all miss Jessie Lee and living without her is one of
the hardest things I have to do.
God took my little girl and really need her back.
We all miss JEZABEL LEE our very
special little girl.
