Jezzi by Katherine Cooper / Mommy, Daddy, Chance, Strait and Church

Jezzi came into ours lives as a little puff of fur and left us as a glorious princess taking our hearts with her. She was a quite a girl and learned quickly in life how to fight like a cat from her older sister Tia. She never could figure out why we made fun of her “paw boxing”! She stuck with me through dental school, opening a practice and finally a failed marriage without waver. We conquered many thunderstorms (she thought barking and running around outside was a good idea!), “evils” at the door and pesky birds in our yard. She was diagnosed in March 2002 with mulitple myeloma. She fought this cancer with a dignity and grace that left me awestruck to say the least. Many procedures and medications later, she was the epitome of courage and strength. She lost her fight today at the merciful hands of her vet. She leaves behind a mom, dad, sister and two brothers who will never be the same without her. Our grief is unbearable. Our loss is unmeasurable. Our love for her is unending. We love you Jezzi.
