My Beloved KATIE... my "Angel - Girl"
Bright blue eyes in a soft gray face;
A sweet expression one couldn't replace.
A bundle of love with soft warm purr;
Unconditional devotion wrapped in fur.
Sharing my pillow my heart my home,
Always there so I was never alone.
She talked to me plainly in her own special way,
Letting me know what she was thinking each day.
Anything for her I would certainly do,
Nothing was too much - you know that's true.
I owed her so much for so many years
Of laughter companionship and help through any fears.
She'll always be there in my mind and heart,
With me forever as she was from the start.
