Kiri by Julia & James Trahan / Mommy and Daddy

Until we meet again…

I miss you, sweet Kiri-cat…my beautiful old girl. I miss your purr, your silly walk, your yowling for treats, your begging for food from my plate…you were with me for such a long time! I remember when I brought you home — you were such a little fuzzball, and you loved curling up in your little shoe box…so cute! Even when you outgrew the shoe box you still tried to stuff yourself in there…then there was the time you ate all the powdered sugar off an entire box of donut holes, which you somehow got down from on top of the refrigerator.

I will never forget you meowing to be picked up and snuggled when I would get out of the shower, drinking out of the toilet, giving me baths, cuddling with Scherzo…I know you missed her when she died. I hope you’re together now. You were with me through so much — you were always there for me. I remember when James came over for the first time and you let him pick you up — I knew you approved of your new daddy! You were such a funny kitty…my “grumpy old cat.” You will always be my “first” baby…you’re so special and always in my heart. I love you, Kiri-kins.
