KITT by NANCY / Mommy

Kitt died this year at what we think was the age of fourteen. She adopted us when she was not quite a year old at our beach house. She slept in one of the rocking chairs on the front porch. We brought her back home intending to find someone else to take her. We didn’t try very hard. :). Her favorite things were eating, playing with big brother cat Laughing Boy and beating up big brother cat BC. (G.)

She was a beautiful cat and boy did she know it! She always wanted attention and petting. As she grew older, she became quite the Grande Dame, though, except for the last few days of her life, she never looked or acted her age. Funny thing is, in Feb of o3, I was diagnosed with colon cancer, it was caught early, and I was able to beat it. In Feb. of 04, Kitt was diagnosed with cancer, it was too late for her. We reluctantly sent her to RAINBOW BRIDGE in late February. Kitt, I know your up their playing with Laughing Boy and beating up on poor BC, I hope you said hello to Marilyn, Paul, Pippin, and their doggy brothers Graf and Sandy.

I still expect you to jump up between me and the computer monitor, (your sister Gracie quickly learned that trick,) and it’s not as much fun watching JUDGE JUDY without you watching with me. My big comfort is knowing your healthy, happy, fat and sassy again. I’ve got Gracie and her brother Casey now, and I love them, but they’ll never take your place.
