Kopr by Jolene / All of us

We adopted Kopr (prounounced Copper) 5 years ago, I can still remember the first day we brought him home, I was so happy. Before we got him he had been in an abusive home and a home that no one really paid attention to him. He was a spoiled dog after we got him and to show us that he appreciatted everything he protected us in return. He was like a brother to me and I loved him with all my heart. We had so many good times together and he’ll be in my heart forever.

August 12,2005 was a day I’ll never forget, he had been sick for a couple weeks and the doctor didn’t know what was wrong with him. We had decided that we were going to give surgery a try to see if there was anything the vet could fix. We didn’t want to put him down and later find out that we could of done something, we told the vet that if he couldn’t do anything that he could put him done so he wouldn’t suffer anymore.
I am very glad the night before he went into surgery that I told him how much I loved him.

We got a call later that day telling us that he had a tumor that they couldn’t remove so we told the vet to put him down so he wouldn’t suffer anymore. We never got to give him a proper goodbye and for that I feel really guilty.

He was a member of our family and always will be.
The day we got him was the happiest day of my life and the day we lost him was the worst.

Goodbye Kopr, we love you our pretty Babee.
