You were a bright and shinning light in everyones life,
A little ball of pure joy from the first day we brought you home.
Your soft golden hair so beautiful and comforting to touch.
Always ready to give a kiss of comfort,
In times of stress,sorrow and grief.
Countless times you were at our side,
Wanting nothing but to be there.
We adored your beautiful brown eyes,
and your sweet red lashes.
In the earlist of morning and the latest of night,
Always ready to bring us a toy to throw,
How we long for the days to play fetch once again.
You were a sweet angle sent from Heaven above,
Too short for those you dearly loved.
Your spirit lives on in our hearts,
And in your wonderful son Mortimer.
We are saddened by all your pain such a short life.
You are with Grandpa he will take care of you now.
Still our hearts ache our little Rickey is no more,
Emptiness and memories is all we have.
