To our precious little angel, Lacey.
You filled our hearts with so much love. rom the very moment that we saw sight of you, we knew that we were meant to bring you home. You brought nothing but happiness into Ricky’s and my world. We will always long to hear the soft “krmp” of you nibbling and cracking open a sunflower seed, or the loud and busy sound of your wheel squeaking as you run happily. You were loved by not only Mommy and Daddy, but by everyone who came across your path. We couldn’t have asked
for a sweeter furbaby than you.
My only regret is that Mommy could not protect you. Your body grew so still and your heartbeat became very faint. It happened all so sudden. I realize now that you were holding on to every bit of life yet within your tiny body until in the palm of Daddy’s hand. It breaks my heart into pieces to know that you have gone, but to know that you were not alone when you passed away brings peace to my mind.
In your short, little life here on Earth with us, we hope you knew how precious you were and still are. You were our first furbaby and we love you a great deal. We miss you very much and will forever long to find you sleeping contently in your home. I know that you would not want for me to be saddened or in pain, so I will try my best for you. So many happy memories you brought into Mommy’s and Daddy’s world. You will always be our little Lacey who filled our hearts with lots of love.
