Sheltie

Laser was the best friend we had.
He was a very smart and loving dog. We got him when he was
8 weeks old just a little ball of fur. He was a big part of us for 14 years.
He always seemed to know when we were upset happy
or whatever mood we were in. I think most of the time we thought he
was more human and caring then most people are.
We loved him with all our hearts. If we were feeling sad he would get on
our lap and look at us like it is going to be okay.
Back in October of 1999 we noticed he wasn’t himself.
We made a trip to the vet’s and was told his heart was very bad.
They said he had a few weeks to live. We asked the vet should we have
he put to sleep he said no you will no when it is time.
We brought him home and he was doing good. Every time we called for
another months supply of his medicine they and us were
surprised that he was living as long as he was.
Then July 10 we noticed he wasn’t again doing so good.
We took him to the vet and they said it was time.
He went very peaceful and we know it was the only thing
we could do for him.
We miss him very much.
But we also know that he is in a better
place now.
