Lassie was a wonderful companion. She stayed with my grandfather until he passed away. Lassie always kept us company, and she was a true best friend. She enjoyed playing with our other dog, Heidi, so much. She was a beautiful dog. One time, Lassie had to have her fur shaved because it was very hot. She got shaved, and I could tell that she was embarassed by her lack of fur. She didn’t want to come out of her pen too often. But, soon enough, her fur grew back.
She always was interested in whatever we were doing, whether it was planting flowers, walking, or doing something else. She was truly a great dog, and we will all miss her so very much. But we know she is no longer suffering and is with my grandfather now. I hope to see her and my Popie again someday.
