Dear Lucy,
I miss you so much. Not an hour goes by when I am not thinking about you. Everywhere I look, I see your face. You were not only my dog, but my very best friend. You always could make me smile no matter what else was going on. I know we had a great twelve years together but I wish we could have more. When you took your last breath, a part of me went to sleep with you. I don’t think it was you who had the separation anxiety. It was me. Please be happy in Heaven and know that you will always have a special place in my heart and that I will always love you.
