As I am sitting here today,
I heard the news,
and I can’t even begin to say…
very sad, and the tears they flow…
We know why you had to go….
We will always remember the way you would play…..
Chasing all the deer away….
And why did you have eat the 20 dollars…?
The only dog we knew who liked beeds for collars…
“O-lay”, “o-pay”, “o-nay”…”OK”…
We remember so clear today….
Ice bones, grumpies, Tuffy and burdocks…
You always used to love to hide our socks….
Please can I have a taste of beer?….
As We think of this we shed a tear….
A place we know your at pease and rest….
even know it is hard, we know it is the best…
Once, again you can run and be free…
Even though it is hard for us to see…
We do understand why….
And for sure we cry…
But we know you are in a better place….
and when you see us again, you will know our face…
