Marnic Vogt 1992 to December 26, 2004
“Look into my eyes and deny it,
no human could love you as I do.”
At the age of 6 Marnic’s original owner chose a man over him & took him in to be euthanized.
Marnic,
You were literally an answer to my prayers. I thank God & Dexter every day for blessing me with the gift of you.
The most laid back & loving dog, you got along with everyone & everything; dogs, cats, kids, adults! You didn’t have a mean bone in your body!
We went through our period of adjustment, but a new couch & some wall board later you were my “MarnicMan”! & I would sing to you, in the tune of Spiderman,
“MarnicMan, MarnicMan does whatever Marnic can, oh oh, I love my Marnic Man!”
There was not a single soul in my life, who met you & did not love you. Even those who didn’t like dogs loved you!
I think I was in denial when you got sick, & for any time I lost my patience, I am so sorry! Please forgive me.
I will treasure all my memories; our trips to Cook Forest, moving into our own home, adopting Jasmine after she was abandoned at age 7. You welcomed her into our home & though you were an older & wiser 11yrs., it didn’t take her long to corrupt my angel. I’ll never forget the day I heard a deep, loud “WOOF” come from quiet Marnic. Your front end lifted off the ground & I think you even scared yourself. How I loved to watch the 2 of you play!
Jasmine & I miss you terribly,we always will. Everyone on our walking route expresses their sorrow & says what a great dog you were.
I am so thankful for every moment we shared. My thoughts & love are with you, & Dexter, & I look forward to the day when, together, you come to greet me, & welcome me into our eternal home!
