Max by Lee-Ann & Rob / Mommy & Daddy

Max was six months old when we brought him home, just one day after our honeymoon. He was so tiny and rambunctious, yet always cuddly and loving. We recall some of our greatest memories like when Max introduced himself to the neighbourhood by running freely into the Alexander’s house. We remember the first day of doggy school when he walked in, looked around at all of the other dogs, walked to the nearest post and peed in front of everyone.

Rob and I were so proud when Max ended up graduating as the most improved dog. We remember how Max sniffed our baby girl when we brought her home from the hospital. We remember how fiesty he could be and how he thought he was a big watch dog. We remember the time he ran away at the beach and Rob had to run after him….I’ve never seen Rob run so fast. We remember the neighbourhood searches and the panicky feeling that he may be gone. He was such an intelligent dog, so easy to train. Max could do several tricks such as roll over, shake a paw, and sit pretty just to name a few. Max was the first dog on the curb…so many people new him thanks to the many walks Mackenzie took him on in the early years of his life.

What we remember most of all, is how Max gave his love willingly and was a constant, loyal friend right up until the end. He helped me during my chemo days….he knew I was sick and layed close to me throughout the tough times. He was a beautiful soul and he will live forever in our hearts.

We Love You, Max.
