Max by Lindsay Beaulieu / Lindsay

Max was my dog from the first time we saw each other. He loved everyone and everything. I miss him so much. It was a cold January morning when I let him and my other dog outside to go to the restroom. I left them there for about three minutes, then I went to let them in and they didn’t want to come in, so I went out to get them when I stepped out on to the driveway something told me to turn around and all I saw was a neighbor and these two shadowy things
that were coming closer and closer.

It turned out to be two big husky’s. They started to bully Lambeau around and they decided they couldn’t do anything to him and they went for Max. They took him by the back of the neck and ran off with him. I couldn’t do anything but watch. I had to tell my mom what happened. I will never forget that morning the screams for help and
not being able to do anything.

It has been almost two years now and I am not over it. I still hear him crying. I never got to say goodbye. I miss him he was my dog
for 13 years of my life.

Max, buddy, you were the best dog ever. I will miss you so much. I want you to know how much I love you and that I tried to save you,
but I couldn’t. Bye Buddy.

I love and miss you,
Max
