Max by Liz Graham / Your loving family

In memory of Max
(This poem was written by my nephew after Max died)
Max my buddy, you were loved by all
Ever since you were a pup so small
When I first touched your soft gentle paw
I knew that in my love for you there was not the tiniest flaw
Even though physically you are gone,
In our minds you still live on.

Max you loved to go for a walk
How would you describe it if you could talk?
Bounding and running and leaping along
Your short little yaps, the sweetest love song
Max our baby, our miniscule friend
To us your death is not the end.

Love Alasdair,
Max
