Our dear sweet Maximus..
It has been mere days since you left this earth yet it feels like an eternity since we last held you. We could not have asked for a more sweet loving kitty. Your way of sending ‘eye-kisses’ your quirky way of talking “Mrrow-wow” your kitty wake-up kisses your constant purr-motor your lap snuggles the way you would snuggle on a shoulder even at 12 pounds… all of these things we miss. You were only 10 months old.. just a baby. MUCH too young to go to the rainbow bridge.
We never knew your heart was sick no one knew. Oh how we remember that last night.. and how we wish we’d held you tighter. When I found you dead on the living room floor.. I thought my whole world was coming to an end. The house is quiet now.. everything is less colorful. We will never forget you Maxie-doodle. Though your life was short you had a *huge* impact on everyone who knew you. Taylor Abbie and Zeusy sure miss you.
