Meiko with eyes that looked into your soul
We knew we would love you, from the first time we saw you, so timid and shy and we wanted to cry.
Your life here was short but so much did you give. Born with only 3 feet, but it didn’t slow you down, you were one of the best and we will always remember the little brown dog with the soulful eyes who knew all our thoughts and heard our heart’s cries.
We cried when you died and our hearts broke, but we had to let you go as you suffered too much to stay.
I hope you’re with dad now, playing again, keeping each other company till we meet again.
