You were the one who kept this family together for 16 years and were the one who got all the attention and treats. I still hear the story of when Mom, Dad, Chris and Julie brought you home when you were abandoned from your mothers family. We all miss you and where you use to sleep there is the spot where your bed use to be. Now there’s an empty space. That is for you Mindy Pindy.
Our story begins when my mother got a call from the humane society saying we have a tiny pup here and would you like it; of course we would. Dad still says he remembers how small you were when he could fit you in the middle of his palm.
As you grew up with 2 kids until you were 2 years of age then I was brought in to the would and you looked after me very well and taught me a few things too. We miss you so much. Dad doesn’t have his chase partner. I don’t have you to dress up and mom doesn’t have you to talk to. It is still hard to get over you leaving us and not knowing you had a stroke that paralyzed you. WE ARE TRULY SORRY!! But we thought we had made the right choice and it was a hard one to make.
We can hardly talk about you not being with us because it brings back funny memories and wishing you could live forever. I always thought you and I growing old. WOW if that was true. We don’t eat cheese and we don’t really do the Easter hunt chocolate eggs no more because it’s not as much fun without coming down and seeing how many you have gotten during the night. well I hope you get his message and for the ones who are reading this the love that you have for your pet should be great. Don’t let time pass without creating good long memories and treat your pet as a human being. They will love you for that.
