Brittney got Miss Squeak for her 5th birthday. She has wanted a pet of her own for a long time and fell in love with Squeak as soon as she held her. She started squeaking right away, and that’s how she got her name. Squeak lived in a house with two dogs and always held her own. Nobody, human or animal got the best of the Miss. She would squeak and squeal until she got fed, and when she wanted to be held. She loved to chew on Brittney’s hair, and liked nothing better than to curl up in Brittney’s lap and eat treats from her hand. She used to love to play with Brittney in the yard, but wasn’t sure about her leash. Miss Squeak was the love of my little girls life, and the day she died was filled with pain. We told Brittney that Squeak was looking funny and that we thought she might be dying. Brittney picked her up right away and as soon as she held her we knew that her time with us was almost over.
She laid in Brittney’s arms and took her last breath. The life in our family has been dimmed and their is a piece of Brittney’s life that is gone. I am helping Brittney with this so that she can find a place to grieve. Thank you for this web site, and thank you Squeak for all your love.
