My Dearest Pal Mitch,
I am so honored to have been able to care and love you as you got older. You and your sister Lulu meant the absolute world to me and were there to help me when the times were so tough and hard to cope with. I think of you every day and miss your friendly nudges and love and loyalty. When I was sick, you stood by my side, when I was sad, you gave me your love, when I cried with hurt you licked my face.
I wish I could take the years off you and have you for longer- your heart and mind were young but your body let you down- you were the truest being I have ever known in my life and I would never abandon you. Real friends are for life : in the good and bad times and you were a dear loving friend.
Today I honor and remember you – you run free with love in my heart and dreams.
