One Wish

If God would give me one last wish,
I would wish for one more day.
To see you smile and run around,
And give hugs and feel you lick my face.

I wish you were here,
I mean it with all my heart.
We could have some fun together.
And thats where we would start.

We would run around,
And chase one another.
I will never replace you,
For some other.

After a lot of fun,
You had to go back to Heaven above.
I would give you a hug,
And a kiss to show my love.

I will miss you forever,
My little friend.
I’ll see you in Heaven,
Then we’ll play again.
