Molly K Nein by Ellie, Rachel, Anne and Terry / Ellie and your human and canine sisters

Ms Molly K Nein came to us as an adult gal, needing a place to call home. Six and 1/2 years young, always a smile and a wag of her tail, she rapidly took her proper place in our hearts as queen of the dog beds and hunter of squirrel and birds in the yard. She had been a hunting dog, loved to hunt, but spent her remaining years hunting the next human touch and rewarding us with that big wide smile and a joyful heart full of love.

She stayed young in body til the last week of June, 2004, even though her mind frequently went on long journeys into new places and her eyes and ears were no longer working the way they should. Her heart was big, her zest for life was unfailing, her love was steadfast and true. When her body failed her, she went over the rainbow bridge to reunite with her friends who went before her, leaving us with a big empty hole in our lives.

I know she is running through fields, chasing the elusive pheasant and feeling so free. I told her God has meatballs at least 10 times a day and I know she is going to hold Him to that. She could hardly wait for her meatball with the daily regimen of pills in it; it was her favorite part of the day.

Rest well and know how much we miss your cooing and whining when the morning had broken and you wanted to get up. You are gone but never forgotten and we love you.
