MoMo by Jacki

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one
I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles
When day is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly
down the ways of happy times
and laughing times
and bright and sunny days
I’d like the tears of those who grieve
to dry before the sun
I want the memory of me to be a happy one
That I leave when day is done.

This was the poem on the back of my fiancees card when he passed, and I am taking this time to send it up to you, MoMo. You were my baby kitty, and I love you.
I’m still your “pet girl”.

Love,

Your Girl
