Even though you were a feisty little guy,
we loved you and hope that you had a happy time with us.
Thank you for all the times you were happy to see us when we came home,
and fell asleep on our laps,
and stole our seats when we got up,
and woke us up at 5am – even on the weekends.
We wouldn’t change a thing about you.
