Mr. Big Kitty Adams by Steven and Karen Adams / Mommy, Daddy, Jenna, Maggie Mae, and BoBo Kitty

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved tabby cat, Mr. Big Kitty, of North East, MD. He was born in the spring of 1997 in Pikeville, KY and went home to Kitty Heaven on Wednesday, October 27, 2004. He was a loving member of our family and we considered him our ‘first baby’. He leaves behind his brother, Beauregard a.k.a. “BoBo Kitty,” and sister, Maggie Mae, our Beagle. He was also a devoted companion to our daughter, Jenna, as he had been a part of her life since infancy.

Not many cats would be brave or lax enough to allow a toddler to lug them awkwardly around the house. However, Big Kitty always allowed Jen to do so, without a single scratch or complaint. As long as he could cuddle next to her and have her attention; his contentment would reflect in bright green eyes and soft purring. He was a beautiful, affectionate and loyal animal. Big Kitty enjoyed sleeping, playing with his siblings, watching birds, eating Pounce cat treats, and he especially loved to be snuggled. He brought our family great joy, happiness and love.
He will be missed tremendously. We are grateful to the Lord, for allowing Big Kitty to be a special part of our lives; and for giving us the precious time that we had with him. He will leave paw prints and cherished memories in our hearts forever.

This was an “obituary” that we wrote in tribute to Big Kitty and we sent it to our friends and family.
