Ms. Karly Roo by Shelda Dudley / Mommy

Ms. Karly Roo was my first “baby”, my first in the house dog. I never knew the difference it made, until I had her. She bit the end of my nose at the pet store, that’s how I knew that she was mine. She loved me unconditionally, she accepted me for me, and she comforted me when I cried. When she was ready to come in the house from outside, she would tip her head back and cry, it sounded like she was saying, “I want my mama!” She would sit in front of the door and wait for me to come home from work/school, when she would see my car, she would stand up, wag her tail, and start to bark.

She knew my car! She was SO smart. She could do tricks, she knew what several words meant, and she slept on my pillow with me. I love her so much that it hurts. I miss her everyday. She was my baby. She was beautiful with her black mask and long fluffy white tail. Her beautiful tri-color marking made her one of a kind. I will never forget you,
my sweet baby.
