Murphy by Monica, Ryan, and Jennifer / Your Companions

My Darling Murf,

It was such an honor to know and love you. You were my friend and my soul sister. You brought light into the lives of all who met you; you bridged connections that would never have existed without you. You were funny and cool and always the queen. The fight in you was endless. You left us in your usual dignified mood. It was good to see you still had that even on your last breath.

The house isn’t the same now without you of course. The other kitties you’ve allowed to live here miss you so much they retreat to the garage. The dogs want to comfort me and wisely urge me to accept your absence. I’m trying. You were special even among the special, but you knew that. My words of tribute fall short of your essence.

I can still hear you, feel you, and I long to still care for you. But our time together is only interrupted. You’ll be telling me what to do again soon, when I get to where you are. I’ll do whatever you need and I’ll bring the canned food too. 🙂
In the meantime…

I hope I served you well,
Monica

Thanks for loving us,
Murphy
