It’s been one year since you left us
And we’re both missing you still
So we bought a new little puppy and the
Void that you left he now fills.

And even closer you stay to our heart
And with you in our thoughts each day.

we still can’t get used to the void
But our new pup is easing the pain.
We know that you’re happy and safe
And that our lost is our Heaven’s gain.
