Murry by Jennifer & Kje Sundberg / Mom & Dad

Murry entered our life in October 2000 from the Southern Arizona Humane Society, and brought us joy everyday since. He taught us how to love and commit, and that the world was less complicated then we thought. Murry understood the beauty of simplicity and truly understood the gift that is in each day. He did not welcome the day in a small way, for Murry every day was the best day ever. His enthusiasm, despite any difficulty, brought smiles to everyone’s face.

Murry could charm anyone with his sideways smile and deep loving eyes. Murry invoked love in everyone he encountered, from the aged when he volunteered at a nursing home, to children in the park. He touched lives with his gentleness and compassion. Murry knew instantly with whom to be gentle and who needed to play.

Mostly Murry was a friend, companion, and a savior. Murry faced difficulty in his final days, but never lost his enthusiasm for love. While he was taken early to cross the rainbow bridge, we are left with memories of an animal that truly loved. And for this we are better people.
