Nemo was the sweetest most loving cat. I only had him for a couple of months, but we were soul mates. He originally came from the animal shelter as a kitten. He was abused by his first parents. I got him when he was about 2 years old. He was such a lover and companion to me. He was so thin and such a small kitty. I took him to the vet to see if he had worms and his shots.
It was a sad day—The vet tested him for feline luekemia, and sure enough he had it. That is why he was so thin and dull coated. The vet said he was hurting and it would get worse. I couldn;t put him through that. I had him put down and it broke my heart! I know now he is in a beautiful place where he can run and play and see all of his friends.
I will see him someday I know.
