Dear Niki:
What a surprise it was to find you were very ill and we didn’t realize it. You always were so easy going and non-complaining. We had to put you to sleep only a few hours after we found out the vets couldn’t help you. Your favorite place was our backyard wetlands. You greeted us at the door every time we came home. We still think you are waiting on the other side of the door when we come home. We miss having you greet us and sleep at the foot of our bed. Thank you for six years of joy and companionship. We were so fortunate to have you in our lives. See you on the other side of the Rainbow bridge along with King and Jaguar.
