When my sister and I were little girls ( 6 and 9) we were at the vet to put one of our other animals to sleep. We saw Nikki(only a month or so old) in a little cage in the vets lobby. We found out someone just left him on their doorstep one night. We felt so bad for him. He was so little and cute we wanted to take him home. He was so spazy and would always jump out at us from behind the couch when we walked by him. Years passed and Nikki was such a big part of our family.
A year or so ago we found out he was deaf, and from there everything started to get worse. He was going on 17 years old and died this morning of heart failure! We love him and will miss him very much!!
