PAW PRINTS ON OUR HEARTS
What a friend you have been to us,
you were never mean and never fussed,
You loved us every day and night,
you even let us hold you tight.
You were such a good dog,
I just can’t see why God took you away from me.
I guess he had a different plan,
but I will never understand.
So now we just want you to know,
that we will always love you so.
and that right from the very start,
you left your paw prints on our hearts.
