Horse
I first saw Oh Bee at a reduction sale of a local paint horse breeder.
I liked both her and her mom so my husband and I decided
to buy the pair.
She was to be the match to my paint stud later on.
She spent her preweaning months in a beautiful grassy paddock
beautiful summer days.
Weaning time came we brought her to the barn all went well.
We sent our race colts to the trainer for their first training they
all picked up the race track flu and brought it home.
We give every shot possible but just like people there are
so many strains. She got this flu. But unlike the others,
it hit her in her heart and gave her a heart murmur.
Our friend and vet did every thing he could many weeks of meds
and treatments and always gentle little Oh Bee making the best of it.
Me trying every thing to help her.
She got steadly worse each week till Easter Sunday when she went
down hill. She died three days later taking her part of me with her.
And so she is met by Lady Reno who went before her.
Till we all meet again my world is a little poorer.
I miss her greatly.
With much love
Mom Stef
