Onyx by Chrissy Hagerty / Mommy

Oh my Onnie-ca-Bonnie…
How I love thee and miss you. You gave me such love and kindness, and what fun we had together for almost 12 years. I will forever remember your tennis balls and fresbee’s that are all buried with you.
How you loved taking those rides with me in the back of my truck and getting lost in the woods and playing in any kind of body of water that we could find.
Being such friends with Luger and Shiloh who are now with you in the fields of Heaven romping and playing together once again.

I’m sorry I had to put you to a restful sleep, and you broke my heart fighting it all the way, when it was suppose to be something quiet and peaceful; but you wanted to stay with me more. Please forgive me for doing that, but your legs gave out. You lasted a extra two years, when they wanted me to put you to rest and I didn’t then, but it seemed you cryed out to me to help you in the back yard just to go potty….I couldn’t watch you in that kind of pain anymore honey!

I never had that kind of unconditional love, and you gave it to me, and I will always honor that. TuTu has sat near and on top of your grave for 5 years now, knowing and missing and not forgetting you either.
One day we will be together again, and your phantom paw will reach for me to play ball again with you.
My love for you reaches no limit…may you rest in peace and come say Hello once in awhile like you still do in that form of the black butterfly that’s always in my backyard fluttering around, landing on my shoulder, and letting me know….just know, that it’s you baby-girl!
Until then….My love! Your Mommy

Once Upon A Time..you told me stories!
