Oreo by Donna Pacholek / Mom, Dad, Sammy, and James

We got Oreo in Feb. 1996. He had been rescued off the streets of Hempstead, Long Island, New York. These ladies took him to the vet; got him his shots, fixed his wounds from fights he had been in on the streets. We took him in and he gave us so much joy. He acted more like a dog than a cat. He came to us when we called his name.

He’d greet us at the door when when we came home from work. He slept on my pillow every night. I miss my Oreo every day. Life is just not the same without his “talking back” or his hijynx. He was our “woof woof wanna be”. We miss you and love you.

Our love forever,
Oreo
