Patches by Cheryl

To my best friend – a purring drooling kneading ball of fur.

Your favorite chair is vacant now
No eager purrs to greet me
No softly padded paws to run
Estatically to greet me.
I’ve put away your bowl
And all the things you won’t be needing.
I will miss you little friend
For I could never measure
The happiness you brought me
The comfort and the pleasure.
Although you filled my days with fun
And there is still much sorrow
I’m sure that we will meet again
In Heaven’s bright tomorrow!
