A PRAYER FOR PEANUT
Dear God:
Take care of my sweet little Peanut.
Free her from her pain.
Allow her to run free again to play like the kitten I remember her to be.
Let her purr and sleep with the comfort
she felt by my side for so long.
Please God let her know she was loved
with the same unconditional acceptance she bestowed on me.
As I go to sleep each night missing her with tears in my eyes
I take comfort knowing she is with you dear Lord.
And I look forward to a time when I come
to the end of my journey to be reunited with her again.
Thank you for the wonderful gift you gave me in
Peanut and the thirteen years we shared together.
