My sweet Pebbies developed a kidney problem that despite our and the vets best efforts were unable to resolve. The last recourse was a surgery that was not guaranteed to correct the problem and may have killed her. So after many long hours of soul searching we decided to have her put to sleep so that she would suffer no more.We could not be with her at the very end but were told that she went peacefully. I have my memories to hold be but would rather have my cat. I hope one day cats illnesses will be as easy to correct as humans.
