Our dearest Petty,
Your unexpected passing has left us devastated. Please know that this was the hardest decision we ever had to make and that we did so with your whole well-being at heart. You are our sweet Buppa! We feel a hole in our hearts and family. Daddy sits on the couch waiting for you. Walks are not the same without you. Momma has been putting treats on your chair each night and making your blanky. Momma sleeps with your baby and blankies with your hair under my pillow so that I can feel close to you.
Momma came to the animal hospital parking lot so that I could be close to you. Remember Momma asking you to go seepy? Oliver misses running around the kitchen with you. Petty, we never wanted this to happen to you and we ache to hold, pet, and kiss you. We want to feel your spirit with us. This is your home and yard and always will be. Please give us a sign that you are with us and are ok. As much as this hurts, we feel blessed to have raised and loved you. You come play with your frisbee any time and Momma will save you a spot on the bed during nap time. Petty, it is hard to believe you are gone. You left a paw print on our hearts and for that we thank you!
