Pinto
Pinto was a dog,
but a loyal friend like no other.
There was a special bond that formed
from the moment we saw each other.
Every day was enhanced by
the zestful personality of this miniature pinscher.
After over ten years, he suddenly passed away.
Oh, how callous is the angel of death!
While his memory will always stay with me,
I shall miss his presence and grieve
silently through the coming years.
