After searching for so long we finally found our next “son”. Piper was the most beautiful chocolate lab we had ever seen and his intelligence went far beyond what we could have asked for. On December 6 2000 our baby past away suddenly. Our hearts were just torn into pieces. His doctor performed an autopsy and revealed he had died from a ruptured blood vessel due to a rare type of cancer that was not known to him or us.
Piper if you could have only known how much we loved you. Ryan Zac and Hunter miss you so much as do “Daddy” and me. You were so special and I can hardly believe that you won’t be here any more. I just wanted to hold you one more time. Watch you play or do your exercises with “daddy”. We did all we knew to do to make you better but there was another plan that God had for you. It is so hard to speak your name or look through your photos without undescribable grief.
You were the most precious little boy that anyone could ask for. Ryan cries when he thinks I am not looking and Zac says that he misses his brother. Hunter is still too young to understand. Your Daddy has cried so much that it hurts me to watch him. I love you Piper. I love you and I never wanted to have to say good-bye…just remember us when you play in “puppy” heaven. You can be sure.. We will NEVER forget you.
