Pipper by Ed Kohl / Dad

When we brought you home, you spent the first three days hiding under the bed. When you finally came out, you gave us fourteen plus years of joy and love.

I had to take you to the vet today. I hope you understood. Your health problems were adding up and everyday was becoming a struggle for you. It was time to let you go.

Your family will never forget you. You traveled all over the country with us and was always so well behaved. There wasn’t a mean bone in your body.

It is going to be so hard just not having you around. You have been part of our lives for so long. You used to follow me around everywhere. The rest of the family used to kid around and say that you “worshipped” me. A person doesn’t get the chance to be worshipped very often. I’ll miss it.

Wherever you go, I hope you meet up with Sweetie and Grandpa. They’ll be looking for you. We’ll all see you again someday too.
