POOH BEAR by Monica Pierce / Mommy, Mamaw, Papaw

POOH BEAR
August 27, 1997-August 21, 2003

POOH BEAR was rescued from a pet store in Honolulu, Hawaii when he was 2-3 weeks old.
His most outstanding feature at that time was his ears which seemed too big for his body, but as he grew more into a adult cat his ears seemed to shrink. He was named for the orginial POOH BEAR.

POOH BEAR was quite, sort of a loner & but a gentle and loving sweetie.
POOH BEAR’S cutest moments were the way he titled his head, as if to say “see me I am so cute”.
He was always ready to position his head in a way it would remind one of a “kodak moment”.
His cutest humorous moment was the discovery of sour cream. When he jumped up on the kitchen counter and stuck his entire face into a container of sour cream, and looked more like he was covered in shaving cream, then proceeded to try to lick the sour cream off his own face, even into his adulthood he continued to love sour cream, and would lick it off our fingers when we would treat him
to his new found treat.
His other favorite treat was chicken.

When I left Hawaii to come back home to Tennessee, POOH BEAR had the privilige of riding with me inside the main cabin of the plane in a special carrier as he was the type of cat to panic easy. He soon became the star attraction of the flight from Hawaii to Tennessee.
His sudden illness brought me to shock when I realize he was not hisself. When I got him to the vet, he had a temp of 104 and was diagnosed with a feline baterical infection, and my only option was to HEAVENLY HEAL my precious POOH BEAR, and to let him go to the RAINBOW BRIDGE.
There are other cats in my life, but my POOH is not with me, and the other cats know one of them is missing.
I did what was best for POOH so he would not suffer.
I LOVE YOU POOH
and Papaw & Mamaw & the “kitty clan”
loves and misses you.
